Traffic Tentacles

traffic tentaclesI first shared my Traffic Tentacles on the Magic Submitter forum a couple of years ago back before the scheduler and campaign manager were even an idea for the software.

Some people got it and some people didn’t!

I was a lot harder to create complex linking structures back then :-)

 Traffic tentacles are a great way to get better rankings in the search engines and get traffic from the pages on other websites we are going to rank in the search engines.

 We are targeting low competition keywords and using the “authority” of these other sites to try and get top rankings to drive visitors to our site.

Link Pyramids

link pyramidsLink pyramids are one of the more advanced link building strategies were we build multiple layers of content to increase the power of our links  on the first tier.

Every level of link pyramids has an increasing amount of content and backlinks pointing to it with the aim of boosting the link juice pointing to our money site for higher rankings in the SERPs.

Direct linking

direct linkingDirect linking is the number 1 mistake I see people making even today! It’s well documented that deep linking is better for ranking web pages.

When I have consults with potential SEO clients direct linking is the number 1 problem I find with their link building strategies, some of them build sites with hundreds of pages and only build links to their home page and let the goodness flow throughout there site via internal links.

Direct linking leaves you wide open to people like me coming in and out ranking you for your own product keywords! Taking a huge cut of your profits that would have been yours if you had paid more attention to your inner pages.

You can make huge sums of money when you find a company that has more than 10 products and doesn’t link to their inner pages :-)
