I personally have had a subscription to sic submitter for a couple of years now.It fulfills most link building needs allowing you to submit your content to Article directory platforms like Articledashboard, Articlefriendly, ArticleMS, WordPress article directories and PHP Link Directories (those that you can submit articles to) plus bookmark, submit RSS and build profile links on various different forum platforms.

There are a few problems with Sic Submitter though lol Although most have been sorted out in version 4 (in beta now).

Don’t expect to get any other work done on the computer you are running sic submitter on as it has a tendency to take over and start using the clipboard and robbing you of “focus” every couple of seconds so writing articles while using it is out of the question. (This Issue is Fixed in Sic Submitter 4)

Sic Submitter is probably the most unintuitive software program of it’s type I’ve ever come across as well, expect a steep learning curve when it comes to using this program.

The scheduler is probably the worst I’ve come across as well I’ve been pretty spoilt with the Magic Submitter and Bookmarking Demon schedulers.

Sic Submitter comes with a lot of platforms you can submit to out of the box so if you know how to use Scrapebox or some other scraping tool then in a short time you can have tens of thousands of fresh targets that are not overly spammed to death like you get with other software products of this type and it’s easy to! Just use the list wizard and paste in your list and you are good to go

I think the good far outweighs the bad where sic is concerned. Plus A lot of the “bugs” have been ironed out in version 4.

Blog comments are a powerful tool for marketing!

With them you can control the perception of visitors to your site, personally I don’t only publish the good comments on my blog.People are entitled to their opinion and I believe we should allow them to speak!

I haven’t talked about this before because I have not had an example to use but today I have one

Now I really like the guys over at Market Samurai and am not knocking them in any way shape or form I’m just giving my opinion and pointing out a method that is widely used in our industry to sway visitors perception of a product or service.

This example happened when the Market Samurai boys released this post here basically stating that due to recent changes in Google they would have to start charging for their rank tracking module in Market Samurai.

If you shoot over there and read the comments you will see the undying support and admiration of what they are doing and the direction they are taking with charging people a monthly fee for something they have already paid for when they bought the software!

Everybody understands that they have no choice but to do this! or do they?

Well as a Market Samurai customer I and many other people got the email and went ahead and posted comments to that post over there!

It wasn’t until I was chatting to someone on Skype about the whole thing that we both realized our comments about why the rank tracker needed to run through them were NOT published that we figured out what was going on

Well it seems that they are trying to influence their visitors opinions through the comments on their blog.

 Now I went and spoke to a couple of developers that I know and one of them is Alex who built Magic Rank Tracker which is a rank tracking software similar to Market Samurai rank tracker module and I wanted to get his take on things

Me – “Alex is your Magic Rank tracker still working
           forget that last question works prefect ”

Me – “have you heard Market Samurai are going to start charging monthly for their rank tracking module?”

Alex – “they are crazy
              It costs us literally hundreds of thousands of dollars each year to update and enhance the product, and not having someway to recoup this expense is not a sound long-term business model.
              how not honest they are…..

Also it’s quite a hot topic on forums at the moment

On the warrior forum on this thread here is another user who comments:

“I’ve just had a look at the blog page which gives the reasons why they are doing it and it doesn’t make any sense at all – except to the commenters sucking up to Eugene that are obviously hand picked. I have spoken to 7 other users who have Market Samurai, 5 have sent in scathing comments and he hasn’t published one of them”

And lastly we have an email from link assistant which totally debunks what the Market Samurai boys are saying:
