OK so the old saying in Internet Marketing is “The money is in the list” so if you can add a simple tweak to your website to get 40% more subscribers to your list would you implement it?

Hell yeah, I know I would (and have started to on all my sites).

Same traffic 40% more subscribers – it’s a bit of a no brainer!

OK so what I did was install a plugin that let me add an opt in form to the end of each post, you can see a little image of it below:

There are many plugins that will let you do this on your wordpress blog and add more subscribers to your autoresponder, but I chose a popup plugin because later I want to test what happens when I add a popup to my blog here.

This isn’t just any old popup plugin!

As you may have read before I’ve tried popup domination and I am NOT a fan!

OK so the first funky thing I tried was adding an optin form to the bottom of my posts, I’m going to try other features of the plugin later.

This website doesn’t get that much traffic! at the time of writing this. I’ve been to busy with clients and my affiliate sites to spend much time on it.

So on average I get about 27 subscribers a week to my newsletter, but after adding the form at the bottom of the posts it went up to 35.

No other change just that simple tweak gets an extra 40% more subscribers to talk to when you send out your newsletter.

OK so I say 40%! if you’ve seen some of my videos you will know I’m not to good at maths, so it’s 40% ish before you all whip out your calculators and start messing about with complicated stuff.

I’ve started doing this on all my websites, I suppose having something worth reading will also effect the outcome! I’m assuming the better the content the more subscribers you will get with this little tweak.

Another cool feature of this popup plugin is when someone subscribes to your list from one of these forms at the end of your post the form cleverly disappears and doesn’t show up for them anymore, How cool is that! Ive not tested it though so maybe one of you nice people could try it and let me know in the comments below
